Peter M. Bren spoke to a classroom full of students from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. As the inaugural speaker series of the year for the Anderson Real Estate Association (
AREA), Mr. Bren gave great insight and interesting background on his real estate career. Mr. Bren told of his astonishing career from his start as a young building manager with big ideas to Co-founder, Chairman of the Board, and President of KBS Realty Advisors and its affiliate, KBS Capital Advisors, both nationally recognized real estate investment advisory firms with transactional volume greater than $23 billion.
From his start in development followed by his role as Senior Partner of Lincoln Property Company and President of Lincoln Property Company, Europe, Mr. Bren spoke of the importance of instinct and intuition in guiding his decisions and being a successful entrepreneur. UCLA Anderson students and the Ziman Center are very appreciative of Mr. Bren’s generosity, in dedicating both time in speaking to students and his recent donation to establish the
Peter Bren Initiative for Real Estate Entrepreneurial Studies at UCLA.
