We have all read about how the job market in the United States is improving and this is also true among AREA board members. The Ziman Center is pleased to announce that three of the eight 2nd year Board Members have recently accepted full-time real estate positions with highly reputable firms for when they graduate.
Mike Johnson has accepted a job at PCCP LLC as an associate in their Los Angeles Office. In this role, Mike will work on originating new investments and asset management of existing projects in southern California, Arizona, and Texas. Mike found the job after working at PCCP over the summer and staying in touch with the team during the school year. PCCP is an integrated real estate finance and investment management firm with more than $6 billion in assets under management on behalf of institutional clients. PCCP provides both balance-sheet debt and equity for value-added and opportunistic middle market real estate projects throughout the US.
Ryan Rich has accepted a full-time position at Partners Group as an associate in their San Francisco office. In this role, Ryan will join the global real estate investment team, which operates across a number of platforms including direct, secondary, and primary investments in private real estate. Ryan identified this opportunity through the on-campus recruiting services provided by the Parker Career Management Center. The firm made its first official recruiting visit to UCLA Anderson this past Fall, and we hope to develop a long-standing relationship with the company moving forward. Partners Group is a global private markets investment management firm specializing in private equity, debt, real estate and infrastructure, with over $30 billion in AUM.
Robert Wilshusen accepted a position at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF) L.P. as an analyst in their Century City office. Robert will underwrite and analyze both debt and investment sales opportunities for HFF’s clients throughout the United States. Robert worked part-time with HFF last year during school and interned full-time during the summer. HFF’s LA office includes Doug Bond and Marc Whitner, two distinguished Anderson alums. As one of the largest and most successful commercial real estate capital intermediaries in the country, HFF incorporates capital markets knowledge with local real estate expertise to successfully complete any type of real estate transaction, regardless of size or complexity.
