A big global carbon mitigation conference has just concluded. The NY Times reports that little progress was made in battling this ultimate tragedy of the commons challenge. Given that this blog focuses on real estate issues, why talk about climate change? As an owner of a small amount of West Los Angeles real estate, I have a deep financial stake in Southern California's future quality of life. If climate change will deeply injure the region, then my asset's value will fall in the medium term. Conversely, if California will continue to thrive in our hotter future, then I have made a wise investment. In my 2010 book Climatopolis, I argue that California's politicians have strong incentives to begin to invest to help our cities to adapt to climate change. I argue that capitalism will help us to adapt to the new challenges we will face.
Human can not battle Climate Change,Environmental protection is the only practice. http://www.swtorcreditsale.com/
