Name: Chrissy Ercole
Hometown: New York City
College/Major: University of Maryland/Broadcast Journalism/Sports Journalism
Previous Roles: After college, I worked in TV news as a photojournalist in a few different markets. (Originally, I was going to be a sports reporter.) I then changed careers and have worked at colleges like Georgetown University, The New School, and, most recently, Columbia University.
Why Parker?
Parker is so special. I've worked in a lot of other offices before but never like this. Good leadership starts at the top, so Regina is an excellent "head coach". She is very inspiring. My director, Chris, is also one of the best people I've ever met. I feel extremely lucky to work for and with him. Phil, our other director, is the epitome of cool, calm, and collected; I admired him a lot. Every single one of my Parker colleagues has their heart in the right place. I also appreciate that the bar in Parker is raised each year -- by my colleagues, but also by the students -- because I always want to keep striving and learning. The Parker team truly cares about each other and also about you, as a student. That kind of genuine kindness, support, and EQ cannot be replicated.
In what do I specialize at Parker? I work with international students, but also with any/all students, and in all industries/functions, especially those recruiting for tech or consulting.

FUN FACTS
- Dream Trip Post-COVID: I'm dying to go to Spain and to the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region to see various countries, among so many other places. I want to see Moorish, Arabic and Islamic design. Plus, Antoni Gaudi (of Spain) was one of my favorite architects, along with Zaha Hadid (of Iraq).
- Top 5 StrengthsFinder Skills: Empathy, Adaptability, Developer, Positivity, Strategic
- Last Show You Binge-Watched/Last Book You Read: "Mare of Eastown" was great. I was extremely happy when the UCLA Bruins made the Final Four in men’s basketball in March, so I definitely watched all of their games (and I cheer for the University of Maryland Terps, Georgetown Hoyas and Syracuse Orange). I also watch all "The Challenge" shows and "Top Chef" because I love competition. I mostly read nonfiction.
- Favorite Thing to Do on the Weekend: I love going to the beach; hanging out with my greyhound dog, Mo; seeing friends and going to dinner; hiking or kayaking; going to sporting events, concerts and movies; exploring the city since I love all big cities; reading nonfiction; and designing (interior design).
