PRE-ANDERSON
Childhood dream job: I wanted to be an Astronomer. I've always been fascinated by space, but wanted to study it from the safety of Earth.
Why business school? I wanted global exposure and an intellectual adventure.
Why Anderson? It was the culture that really attracted me to Anderson. I felt immediately comfortable and connected to the students.

ANDERSON
Anderson Activities & Leadership:
ACT Coach
Parker TA
VP - Net Impact
VP - Outdoor Adventure Club
Favorite class and why? Terry Kramer's Evolution and Innovation in the Global Mobile Industry because he was great at facilitating quality class discussions.
What is your Applied Management Research (AMR) Project? I am doing a Business Creation Option (BCO). My team plans to create a YouTube equivalent for podcasts. Our aim is to help users get more customized and relevant content while enabling content creators (podcasters) and podcast advertisers to monetize through targeted advertising.
Favorite Anderson event/trip: My favorite Anderson trip was the Spring break trip to Israel! I was able to get a glimpse of the country's interesting historical, religious, and political landscape. For me, the most interesting part of the trip was meeting a Holocaust survivor at Jerusalem's Yad Vashem museum. Listening to the story of her escape from Europe and subsequent experiences in the US was very moving. Her positive outlook of life, despite a troubled past, was infectious and inspiring.

RECRUITING
What did you do the summer before business school to prep for fall recruiting? I conducted Informationals with second years and researched companies of interest.
How did you utilize Parker in your job search? I stuck to the process and did the work. I did my Parker deliverables as well as utilized 1-on-1 advising sessions and small group workshops to navigate the career exploration process and make sure I was interview ready.
How many informationals did you conduct? 30+
How did you land your internship? I networked at on-campus recruiting events.
Describe your internship. I was staffed on two projects. The first was a PE due diligence for a healthcare technology client. I learned a lot about cost modeling and data visualizations. The second was an integration project in the retail space. In this project, I built models to analyze TSA costs and a should-cost model for one of the business functions of the client. Overall, I gained a lot of client exposure and met some amazing people at EY.
What's the hardest interview question you've been asked? In my Microsoft interview, the only question I was asked was - "Tell me about yourself." For the rest of the hour, I had to ask the interviewer questions and keep the conversation going!
What was your offer timeline? I applied in December. Got an offer in late January.
