Just Like You, This School Keeps on Getting Better

Many of you have logged into the Parker internal website, and perhaps you have thought: This site is just not as stylish as my school.  Never fear; a new portal is near.

We are currently working on migrating the vast resources on myAnderson over to the spiffy new portal: goAnderson.  This is a major initiative lead by ACIS (Anderson Computing & Information Services). 

Goanderson
goAnderson will be searchable, customizeable and athesetically pleasing. Since the portal uses SharePoint, you can collaborate while using the Microsoft Office Suite. For example, you and your study group can work on the exact same Excel spreadsheet in the same breakout room or thousands of miles apart. There are also a range of social networking capabilities.  

goAnderson will be launching soon, but for the meantime, use myAnderson to get access to all the pertinent info.

Many schools have felt the need that having a portal for students and professors makes it easy to coordinate academic matters. These portals are generally linked to the official website of the school, from which access is controlled and restricted to students and academic staff, with potential students and the general public being able to access some parts of the website but not all. Hence, GoAnderson moving in this direction was a wise move which deserves praise.
