Interesting article on the impact of Ukraine and Russia conflict and its influence on India. India imports both oil from Russia and sunflower oil from Ukraine - this will have long-term impacts given the ubiquitous use of both! I agree with Arvind Subramanian that though India's FDI is on the rise and policies have become more open, favoritism to local big corporates are a bad signal to foreign investors. But still I don't see foreign investors shying away from India given that the market is huge and the potential rewards in the long run are excellent.
