News Release For Immediate Publication Switch Automation will provide a Cloud-based data acquisition and monitoring platform for 120 buildings in Seattle’s 2030 District Seattle, Wash., 10th June 2013:  In partnership with Microsoft, The City of Seattle's Office of Economic Development and Seattle City Light, the Seattle 2030 District has selected Switch Automation (www.switchautomation.com) to provide a data acquisition and monitoring platform for more than 120 buildings. This collaborative project is part of the Seattle 2030 District’s Smart Buildings Pilot Program, and is expected to increase awareness among building owners about the availability and the potential for near real-time energy data to deliver knowledge, empowerment and ultimately energy savings.
