The UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate has received a major gift from Los Angeles Real Estate Entrepreneur Steven C. Gordon to establish the Steven C. Gordon Real Estate Student Endowment. The student endowment is the result of a $1 million gift from Gordon.
The Steven C. Gordon Student Endowment will significantly enhance the opportunities available to students at UCLA in the field of real estate. Funds from the endowment will be directed annually to support such activities as curriculum development, real estate case competitions, distinguished speakers series, professional mentoring, career services and related pedagogical activities.
“Steve’s gift is a real game-changer for the Ziman Center,” said Stuart Gabriel, director of the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate. “It will provide innovative learning opportunities for some of the nation’s brightest and most promising UCLA students, and it will help to solidify UCLA’s place among the very best university-based real estate programs in the world.”
“I feel privileged to be a part of such a fine institution as the UCLA Ziman Center and enabled to create a program of current student support to grow future supporters of the Ziman Center and UCLA Anderson School,” said Gordon.
