UCLA Anderson’s Edward E. Leamer, the Chauncey J. Medberry Chair in Management, professor of economics and statistics, and director of the UCLA Anderson Forecast, received the American Antitrust Institute’s (AAI) award for Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement in Economics. Leamer’s work in high-tech employee antitrust litigation demonstrated that economic analysis can help determine if a class action is the appropriate vehicle for employees to seek redress for alleged harms.
Congratulations, Ed!This is simply more well-deserved recognition of your keen analytical abilities and thoughtful economic insights.
