Another successful UCLA Anderson MBA Career Fair was held on Friday, May 3, 2013. More than 140 MBA students attended the Career Fair with some 60 recruiters representing 35 companies who came to campus to connect with our students. The companies ranged from fast growth startups to international corporations, covering a variety of industries, all looking to hire Anderson students.
According to one recruiter, “We were extremely impressed with the organization of the event. Anderson students were very polite and well prepared. You have great talent here.”
Career fairs are always something that look forward to in anticipation of making it in one of the big companies that come to college. There’s never a bigger sense of achievement than being picked up to work with them, at the end of college.

I hope some of those students are also planning to start their own companies! The cost of starting (and funding) a business makes it a very compelling option today vs. when I started my company in 1995. We need quite a bit of venture capital to find our way to a successful exit.
