Since I'm in Berkeley, I've been reading the SF Chronicle each day. Here are two interesting links.
1. This article sketches a public land tradeoff. The people of San Francisco want access to high speed Internet service so they can be productive and wired into the cloud and to download movies when and where they want them. The problem is that the Internet requires "wires" and ATT is installing "boxes" that are 4 feet tall and 4 feet wide and 2 feet deep. Groups such as "San Francisco Beautiful" are upset that these boxes are ugly and will block walkers and bikers. How can land be shared?
2. For those of you who want to purchase some expensive San Fran real estate, here are some of your current choices.
