LinkedIn Tip: Vanity URL

The public URL to your Linkedin profile is easily customizable allowing it to look more professional and bring up your name higher in Google search. 

 

For instance, before making the edit, my public profile URL read  http://www.linkedin.com/in/robert-michlovich/6eb/22/6 and I was easily able to modify it so that it read “http://www.linkedin.com/in/robertmichlovich”.  It’s a small adjustment but I thought it was a pretty cool upgrade.

Simply log into your linkedin account and next to “Public Profile”, click “Edit” to modify the public URL.
