LinkedIn Tip: Advanced People Search

Trying to target a particular industry?  Let’s say you love beer but in the “I consume in moderation and want to strategically grow the industry” sort of way. 

Here is some advice from Executive Director of Corporate Outreach Regina Regazzi '97 on how to use the Advanced People Search to generate leads.

• Go into an Advanced People Search in LinkedIn (click “Advanced” top right hand corner). 

 ________________________________________________________________________

• In keyword put beer industry. In school put “Anderson.” 
• Do it again with the keyword “brewing” and then again with “brewery.” 
• You’ll gin up at least 10 contacts

(EDITOR’S NOTE: I just liked that she used the word “gin”).
